Deleting a server or web application can sometimes leave DNS records behind. If that IP address (or target) is later reassigned, your domain could unexpectedly start pointing somewhere else – commonly referred to as dangling DNS and subdomain takeover.
RunCloud now gives you an option to automatically remove DNS records.
This can be done when deleting a web application:
As well as when deleting an entire server:
In both cases, you will be able to verify and confirm which DNS records will be removed:
